T.J. has loved stories of all forms since forever. As a child she requested at least ten bedtime stories every night and drove her family crazy watching her favorite movies on repeat. Eventually she graduated from backyard LARPing (Live Action Role Playing) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and She-Ra with the neighbor kids to reading and writing fanfiction about Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, and Fushigi Yuugi.

Now she strives to recreate the magic and love her quippy ’80s and ’90s favorites instilled in her for a new generation of readers with inspiration from nostalgic cult favorites such as The Labyrinth, The Princess Bride, The Last Unicorn, The Mummy, Charmed, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

 

In her spare time, TJ spends time with family and friends discussing art, books, video games, and playing Dungeons and Dragons. On special occasions she attends anime and comic book conventions, and can be found purchasing fan art and merchandise of her favorite series.
