Content Warnings

These books are works of fiction and may contain material that will make some people uncomfortable or that they wish to know about ahead of time in regard to their own mental health or responsible parenting.

 

Content is intended to be written at a PG-13 level where jokes and innuendos will go over your head unless you already know/have knowledge of the joke content.

"Light and Shadow" is intended for an upper YA audience equivalent to PG-13 and up.

 

This book contains fantasy violence, blood, and mentions of death/illness (specifically a character's parent having died of cancer), and abandonment issues from having an estranged parent.

There is some mild language (shit/damn), and some innuendo regarding swords and magic (the word impotent is used in regards to magical power) that some people may find inappropriate for themselves or their children.

"Double-Edged Sword" is intended for an upper YA audience equivalent to a PG-13 rating.

 

This book contains fantasy violence, blood, and mentions of death/illness (parent having died of cancer and another character suffering what is assumed to be cancer), and abandonment issues of an estranged parent.

There is mild cursing (shit/damn; one use of 'bastard' and 'fuckboy'), and innuendo regarding chains, and situations intended to promote discussion of consent, coercion, and bodily autonomy (there is a forced kissing scene and magical control over a person). 

 

Includes mentions of off-screen sexual relations between of-age characters and underage drinking (depending on where you live) that some may find inappropriate for themselves or their children.
